Architectural and General Construction Services: This condominium community is comprised of four four-story buildings in the Mission Valley area of San Diego. Over ten years ago the professional services started by aiding the Association through construction defect litigation. The services have grown to define the priorities and guide the repair process from definition through construction administration. More recently the scope of services has increased to include reconstruction and repair services including but not limited to balcony rebuilds, trellis rebuilds, water intrusion mitigation, concrete patio rebuilds, exterior plaster repairs, painting, entire roof replacement projects, custom gate fabrication, and installation, etc. With our team's long history, the HOA benefits from our legacy information and documentation as HOA property managers change and new board members fill seats.
iD8 specializes in HOA construction defect litigations representing the plaintiff (HOA) as an architectural expert and providing investigations and analysis of defects through intrusive testing. We understand the importance of getting the repairs completed correctly and avoiding the unnecessary trauma of designing or building incorrectly.

iD8 only works around occupied spaces - we do not design or build new developments - which means our team is aware of the sensitivity required when performing construction around homes. We are experienced with communication requirements (to both homeowners and property managers) which helps reduce frustrations and allows for reducing the involvement of property managers and volunteer board members.
